Four of the FFA members went to the World Dairy Expo in Madison. They left on September 30th and came back the next day. Autumn Hermansen, Jade Schallenberger, and Jessica Mattson competed at the Central National Dairy Judging Contest. The team placed 80th out of 132 teams. Krystal Zuniga attended Expo but did not compete. Luck FFA Alumni members, Dean Johnson and Robin Mattson, chaperoned the group. The team was scheduled to compete in the first heat of the competition but they left the motel later than they planned. They competed in the second heat instead. The FFA members had time to observe new dairy technology there and watched some of the dairy show.
