A leadership workshop was held on Friday, March 29 at Turtle Lake High School for FFA members in Sections 1 and 2. The leadership workshop was donated to the Wisconsin FFA Alumni Auction by the state FFA officers and purchased by local FFA alumni chapters. Alumni chapters who purchased the workshop included Amery, Clear Lake, Luck, Ellsworth, Turtle Lake, and Unity. A dinner was also served and FFA members received T-shirts sponsored by Unity and Luck Alumni chapters.
The theme for the workshop was "It Begins With YOU!" The state FFA officers conducted leadership activities and games with FFA members. Over 100 people attended the event including 70 FFA students from 11 chapters attended the workshop. Other FFA chapters who attended were Amery, Clayton, Clear Lake, Cumberland, Ellsworth, Flambeau, Osceola, Prairie Farm, Turtle Lake, and Unity. FFA Advisors, FFA Alumni members, and parents attended the event.
Members from Luck who attended were Lydaya Johnson, Josh Hildreth, and Duane Iverson. Luck FFA advisor, Ms. Konder, attended as well. Luck FFA Alumni members who attended were Jay Thompson, Tanner Hubert, Dean Johnson, Aaron Sorenson, and Kelly Hubert.
