Antique Tractor Show
The Luck FFA Antique Tractor Show was held on Saturday. Despite the storm hitting Polk and Barron counties the night before and the rainy Saturday, there were 11 entries in the show. Levi Johnson, Luck FFA member, took home the Best of Show award. The Ugliest Tractor award went to Carl Hansen. People's Choice award went to Mike Stoffel and an Honorable Mention People's Choice award to Cameron Johnson.
Jim Anderson brought the oldest tractor to the show, and the tractor was originally from a farm near Luck. It was a 1927 Twin City tractor that was formerly owned by the late Bob Schilling of Luck. Twin City was the brand of tractors built by Minneapolis Steel & Machinery Company. The company began producing stationary steam engines and researching gasoline engine designs. In 1929, Minneapolis Steel merged with Minneapolis Threshing Machine and Moline Plow to form the Minneapolis-Moline Company. For many years after the merger, Minneapolis-Moline tractors continued to have the brand name of Twin City.

Petting Zoo and Parade
Sunday was a great day for the petting zoo and parade. The Luck FFA Alumni brought in a couple of calves, a horse, and a cat for the petting zoo. They also gave out agriculture coloring books and items.
After the petting zoo, the Luck FFA Alumni participated in the Lucky Days parade with the two calves and a tractor. Neither of the calves were very cooperative but they did make it through the whole parade!
