Luck Museum Dairy Pavilion Opening

Updated: Jun 12, 2019

The grand opening of the Hanne Ravnholt Pavilion will be held on Saturday, June 15th at 11:00 a.m. The Dairy Pavilion will feature local dairy exhibits and will honor Hanne Ravnholt as the first butter maker in Luck in 1885. The Luck FFA & Alumni will be bringing in calves and cows. Thanks to donors and the Luck FFA Alumni, there will be goodie bags for the kids. Sample some dairy products, too!

The Luck Historical Museum received a grant in 2018 to build a timber frame pavilion to house local dairy exhibits. The grant was provided by the Albert Victor Ravenholt Foundation. Countryside Co-op provided use of their land near the Gandy Dancer Trail to build the pavilion. The timber frame pavilion was prepared by Brian Hall of Oakleaf Building Specialties. The building was raised with Brian Hall, Butternut Creek Crane Service, and volunteers including Luck FFA Alumni members.

The Dairy Pavilion was recently featured in The Country Today. Read their article here.

Thanks to the Donors
