The Wisconsin FFA Alumni Association chartered as a state association of the National FFA Organization in 1972. They celebrated the 50th anniversary at their annual convention in Rothschild at the Central Wisconsin Convention and Expo Center held on February 4-5.
The Luck FFA and ag leadership class created a photo display board of Luck FFA Alumni activities for the convention. Many FFA alumni chapters brought display boards and past scrapbooks. Past artifacts from past conventions were on display as well.
There are many activities and opportunities that are available to those attending the event this year including a display of historical perspective to view throughout the weekend and we are still looking for any artifacts that people may have from conventions of the past.
Jerry and Stephanie Larsen from Luck attended the convention. They attended the tours to nearby businesses that were offered. There was a strong showing of FFA Alumni members from Section 1. The Luck FFA Alumni received an award for placing in the top 5 for the Wisconsin FFA Alumni Public Relations Award.
The 2022-2023 council representatives were also introduced and they were installed into their position. They are:
