2018 National FFA Convention

Updated: Jun 19, 2019

The 91st National FFA Convention & Expo concluded on Saturday, Oct. 27 with the announcement that the organization set an attendance record of 69,944 for the 2018 event. The National FFA Convention & Expo is a time-honored tradition, where innovators and leaders of tomorrow come together, and was held in Indianapolis Oct. 24-27, 2018. FFA members and guests from across the U.S., representing all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, attended the event.

Luck FFA members Julianna Thompson, Sierra Zuniga, Shayla Hulett, Luke Johnson, merlin Hibbs, and Jon Skow attended the convention with former FFA advisor and current Alumni member, Mr. Tom Wesle as a chaperone. This year, the theme of the convention and expo was Just One. "Just One" - one moment, one encounter, one opportunity is all it takes to radically change the course of our lives. For this reason, the National FFA Officer Team chose "Just One" as the theme of the 2018 Convention because they recognized the importance of each individual making "Just One" step toward growth as they work toward the FFA's vision of growing leaders, building communities, and strengthening agriculture. The National FFA Organization provides leadership, personal growth and career success training through agricultural education to 669,989 student members who belong to one of 8,630 local FFA chapters throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The organization is also supported by 459,514 alumni members in 2,236 alumni chapters throughout the U.S.
