In September, Dr. Jeff Johnson from WITC-Rice Lake visited with Luck ag students. He talked about being a veterinarian. He also showed them suturing techniques on pig’s feet.
In October, guest speakers from WITC-Rice Lake and Lakeland Communications came to speak with Luck Tech Ed students. They spoke about the Broadband Academy at WITC. Students learned about broadband and fiber optics technology. They were even able to splice fiber optic wire.
Luck FFA members visited the AMPI cheese and whey processing facility in Jim Falls in November. Students were able to learn about the cheese making process and were able to tour the plant. They tried fresh pepper jack cheese samples that were made the same day.
