Luck FFA members were exhibitors at the Polk County Fair showing poultry, dairy, beef, and swine.
Ella Tretsven showed poultry. Ella’s poultry exhibits won Reserve Champion Mediterranean Varieties; Champion Bantams, Feather Legged; and Reserve Champion Duck. She also won the intermediate poultry showmanship award.
Marissa Lundquist showed a Holstein heifer in the dairy cattle show.
Shayla Hulett exhibited a market hog at the fair. Her hog qualified for the meat auction. Gille Trucking purchased the hog for $5.50 per pound. Other FFA members showed under the 4-H club that they are also members of.
The Luck FFA Alumni sponsored a class at the Polk County Fair dairy show. The sponsorship assists the Polk County 4-H dairy program.
