Luck FFA members participated in the District 1 FFA Speaking Contest. The contest was held on February 8 in Spooner. Senior Nicole Dittbrenner participated in the Job Interview contest, where she had to write a resume, fill out an application, and participate in a mock job interview. Shayla Hulett participated in Creed Speaking, where the FFA Creed is recited by freshman FFA members. Senior Derek Rennicke placed second in Prepared Speaking, where a 6-8 minute speech is written in advanced. Derek will advance to Sectionals at Clear Lake on March 9. Derek's prepared speech was about how illegal immigration affects the agriculture industry.
