Pigs, 3D Printer, and Woodworking Grants

The Wisconsin Pork Association's Youth Pig Project awarded Amelia and Thomas King $50 each to offset the cost of purchasing piglets to start their project.

For the 2019-2020 year, the Milwaukee SPE Education Foundation awarded Luck High School technical education department a $2100 grant to purchase a Dremel 3D45 printer. The foundation awarded a total of $58,240.

The tech ed department also received $655 from Polk-Burnett Electric Cooperative to the wooden lathe and jigsaws in the woodworking shop. Polk-Burnett’s Operation Round Up awarded $28,605 to 28 non-profit organizations in January 2021.

In response to challenges facing many Wisconsin FFA chapters this academic year, the Wisconsin FFA Foundation, in partnership with Wisconsin FFA Alumni & Supporters Association, has launched the Wisconsin FFA Chapter Assistance Grant Program. The grant program will provide $20,000 in funds to local chapters across the state. The Luck FFA chapter received a $500 grant.
